This was a couple of years ago. I believe it was the newest Fedora at the time, 5 or 6 possibly.
Do I expect Linux to act like Windows? Yes. If Linux would like people to begin using it more that would probably be a good step towards success. Back to the language analogy....do you expect most English speaking people to learn Japanese? Not without a damn good reason. But I'd be more than willing to learn a language that had numerous benefits and was very similar to English, so easy to learn.
There need to be a huge amount of benefits to make an OS switch to begin with, and any large learning curve deterants, coupled with lack of support aren't going to help.
And if you expected Linux to be windows - that's wishful thinking, especially for an enthusiast.
