post #1 of 28
Thread Starter
I have an opportunity to purchase the following. Can anyone advise me as to which one I should pick?

* YFD C-1 [(QDF:LAN3) 3.0 GHz XE 1333 MHz] QC

* WFH C-1 [(QDF: LAPK) 3.166 GHz 1333 FSB] DC

* WFH C-1 [(QDF: LAPL) 3.0 GHz 1333 FSB] DC

* WFH C-1 [(QDF: LAPL) 2.5 GHz 1333FSB] DC

* YFD C-1 [(QDF: LAN2) 3.2 GHz XEE 1600 MHz]

Thanks!

edit : added a processor. All are the same price

So you're choosing between the QX9650, E8500, E8400, and E8200? Go with the E8400 for sure.

e8400 is the smartest purchase right now I think. Unless you're the insane bleeding edge technology kinda guy (more so than the rest of OCN that is ), in which case you would get the Extreme. However, I think most people will agree that the 8400 is the best buy right now.

Get the E8400 if you upgrade quite often. Otherwise, pick the Q6600.

Q6600, More programs are becoming quad core enabled, and it OC's nicely

Visit this thread for more information. The QDF in your post will be part of sSpec#. Search the sSpec# column and you will find the processors.
