So long ASUS hello EVGA

Thread Starter
After reading all kinds of posts on this forum it was a mistake for me to buy a Q6600 with my current asus P5n32-e-sli board so I got an A1 EVGA board Friday. Could only get 3.0 stable with the asus but now with the EVGA got a stable 3.6 at 1.37vcore. Probably could lower vcore a little. 27-30c at idle and 60c on core 0,1 and 55c on core 2,3 at load with prime. FSBv is set at 1.4 which I assume is the same as vtt voltage with the asus. Anyway happy with the board.

Intel based boards with intel procs will always get better overclocks.

ASUS makes terrible nvidia chipsets. Evga owns at making them.

Really depends on whether or not you need SLI. You won't be dissapointed with eVGA, they're a great company.
