That's a good deal. REP+ for a great find. I don't think I'll be getting a new video card anytime soon though. My 7800GT plays my two favorite games (BF2 and NFS Most Wanted) maxed out so I'm happy. The midrange sector is finally heating up after the stagnant performing 8600 and HD 2600 cards. Although it's really hard to beat the 8800GS deal you posted for $125.

Thanks Ben, I feel the exact same way... These new powerhouse cards, while pretty and shiny, are massive overkill for the majority of people. Right now my backup rig with a PD 940 and 7600gt(I built it for my grandma but commandeered it for the time being ) plays all the games I enjoy @ 1280x1024 with medium settings.

In a few weeks when I get my main back up I'll first give my grandma her computer back and continue using my 7600gt(IGP is fine for her). You're right about the midrange sector, it has finally begun to heat up. Still there are a lot of variables to consider:

1) Do I NEED a new GFX card(lots of people want, few people need)
2) Better performing/more efficient cards are always around the corner(relates to #1)
3) New standards such as displayport and HDMI can make a $300 card obsolete in short order
4) ECT ECT
