HTML Question marks replace apostrophes - Page 2

post #11 of 13
Thread Starter
So from now on every time I want to type an apostrophe i need to type that letter combo? Thats very, very, very annoying. Theres no other way around that?

Apostrophes work on some pages but not others, and they use the same font and everything.

it's an encoding problem - any good html editor should do it for you.

No...Are you sure you have your page formatted correctly? Like so:
Code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/2001/REC-xhtml11-20010531/DTD/xhtml11-flat.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="application/xhtml+xml; charset=utf-8" />

</head>

<body>

</body>

</html>
Make sure you have a DOCTYPE and a meta charset.
