well i want to go ahead and buy the Zalman
becuase its 20$ cheaper then the others and looks like it can do the job.
but the Thermalright ultra i heard is pretty good with a fan, all i have is my cpu case fan can i hook that up to it?
and the other 2

oh and i just spotted this one it looks like a beast

For the best performance, go with the TRUE, but I don't think your cpu needs that much cooling power though. I think you should get the thermaltake one. I've read some good reviews on it.

Great cooler for duals, allthough get the 9700 (like 8$ more) and you'd be set.

TRUE = Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme

QUAD = MUST HAVE. Don't bother with the ZALMAN for quads, I'll tell you first hand. Buy the thermalright and a SICK fan if price / noise isn't a huge factor.

Only thing that beats the TRUE is water, and the IFX something something something

You don't need such powerful CPU coolers, to cool an X2 4000+. An Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro will do the job. It's only $19.99 at the egg, and it cools like a $40 one.
