DDR 400 RAM not at stock speeds

Thread Starter
heyy everyone

i have a weird problem due to overclocking my cpu from 3.0 to 3.6 but because i ran a divider 4:5 so i could hit 3.6 my ram is underclocked to ddr384

the only way i can get my ram to be back up to 400 is to lower the clock of my cpu back to 3.0 and then change the divider to 1:1. the maximum i have been able to overclock the ram with the stock clocks on the cpu are a maximum of DDR420 but i dont know if that is the maximum because i think somethingthing is limiting my oc's

is there anything i can tweek or do that can make my ram overclock or even run at stock speeds without having to put up with underclocked ram...

thank you in advance

Go for the highest CPU overclock you can and if the RAM is not max speed then you can tighten the timings and lower voltage if possible.

Well have you benched the oc and compared against the new oc? If the latter yields better benchmarks, stick with it.
