I have tons of ATX cases. I bought this PC in december. It kills me to do so many upgrades. If i change the case it wont even resemble a new computer.

Ill just get a new intel mobo.... what should I look for to discern E2180 compatibility? What chip will it claim to work with since E2180 is not a Pentium D or a core 2 duo

The following chipsets are good choices for the E2180:
Intel G35, G33, G965. There are many good choices out there for these chipsets.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813136045 This is probably overkill and unfortunately no SLi but with a good 8800gt it would be a good base for a better build down the road and should support your E2180. PCI/e 2.0 is nice and DFI is pretty good overclocking board.

See but what exactly do you look for when rating a boards quality? I go by features!

If I were to build a new system today Id buy the cheapest mobo i could find that supported SLI or Xfire. Whats the difference? Does one chipset mean better performance?
