CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 ($185.00 not buying from newegg)
MoBo: Asus Maximus Formula
RAM: Patriot Extreme Performance (2 x 1GB) DDR2 1150 (PC2 9200)
HD's: Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250310AS 250GB (x2 Raid 0) (250GB Platters)
GFX: XFX 8800GT Exteme (already have)

What do you guys think? I am open to suggestions, I will definitely be OC'ing the CPU as much as possible. I I would rather have a GIGABYTE GA-X38-DQ6 MoBo, but they don't seem to be available anywhere (I can only find two available and they are way overpriced). Does anyone know why this is??

Actually I really don't like that build.

I'd go with this.

Hmm, I have been 50/50 about the E8400's I really don't like how a small voltage increase can kill them, and they aren't really available anywhere rite now.. Unless someone can change my mind, I'd rather just get a E6850 with a 9x multiplier for $185.

That DFI looks alright, Can someone post a link of a review for it I can't seem to find any.

What would be the advantage to going with that HD, other than the 32MB cache (I don't really need more than 250GB)?
