My First Build What Do You Think? - Page 2

Would this be a better power supply?
Thermaltake 700W with modular cabling

I suggest either the Silverstone DA650, the Corsair 620HX, or the PC P&C 750

All of these are much better choices than the Thermaltake.

I plan on switching to the E8400 just edited original post. Do you think that i can get away with a power supply </= 650w? I thought that i would need 700-750w to be safe in case i do go SLI. If so that Corsair 620HX looks nice i just want to know if it will be enough power.

Its great but try getting GTS to save money. Also get a Asus or DFI board if you want to overclock and a Q6600 which is highly reccomended since its almost the same price as E8XXX series

I would recommond a E8500. The E8400 perfoms just like a E6750.

I'm surprised no one mentioned this;

Does anyone else think he should change 4x1 GB to 2x2GB. Hes gonna get that "stress" on his mobo if he uses 4x1 (compared to 2x2)
