Oh...it was a little confusing there, you shouldn't have mentioned the 8800gt . Yeah that's great then lol.

Lucky for you, awesome! Another reason I will stick with EVGA. Actually a few weeks ago a friend of mine received his RMA's back from EVGA. He had 2 7950's that up n died somehow and EVGA sent him back 2 GTS's as well but only the 320MB version. Still pretty good though.

I wanted to sell the card with the stock cooler so I enquired about getting an RMA. After a week or so they finally agreed to RMA it after in insured the card was not damaged and the fan connector broke "while I was cleaning the dust from the fan".

Well today I get my card back...and what do they send me? An 8800 GTS 640mb. Now that is an RMA story for you. I am one lucky SOB. Now just to decide what to do with this thing.
You planning on selling it here or what?

Nice RMA

Unfortunately when I RMA'ed my OLD BFG FX5500, they still had some..oh well

If its the version of the 640mb with 112sp it won't be that much of a downgrade.

It scores about 2,500 points less in 3dmk06 at stock clocks.
