To buy an SLI board or an intel board?

I don't know which i should go with, I built my PC as mainly a gaming pc but i know im going to be doing more console gaming. Running a Q6700 with an 8800GT OC, would i actually need to do SLI for any game other then crysis? Right now i have world in conflict, TF2 CnC3, SupCom:FA, and Battlefield 2142 and they run flawless with max settings? So would i actually need SLI?

If you mostly do console gaming, don't waste on SLI. Or I would usually recommend SLI, if you're planning on gaming on a resolution of 1920 x 1200 or higher.

Intel boards are better overclockers in my opinion, if you're into that.

Based on what you said, you don't need SLI. There are plenty of nice P35 boards at great price as well as X38 board. They are very good at OC.

And with intel boards you could also go CrossFire if you go ATi.

And based on your monitor, you would never need SLI for 1024 x 768.
