I think my next rig is going to contain a 6400+ BE, 2gigs of Crucial memory, and an 8800 video card. How would this motherboard fit with those parts?

just out of curiosity, why AMD at this point?

The 6400 BE isn't listed as being supported by the TF7050, however, the 6000 is, and that's a 125w CPU like the 6400.... so it should work. I checked with Biostar tech support as to whether my TA770 would work with a 6400 BE since it wasn't listed and the 6000 was.... and they did reply back that the 6400 was supported.

So it should work fine?
What makes this motherboard 65$ while others are much more expensive?

Biostar is known for having some less expensive boards than the rest of the Tier 1 suppliers. They made one hell of a board in the 550 and 560, and those were only 80ish and at the end of the 550 you could get it for 65, so cheaper isn't always bad. I think that biostar is just known for being more of a Tier 2 maker because thats what it was a few years ago. They have really stepped it up recently and put out some really quality boards

It should work fine. Are you building a small case?
