Got a Q6700 Go stepping, VID of 1.2625v and a 10 times multiplier. Throw that in with this mobo.

Why that board?
Better cooling is a must, 3.6 is possible.

The mobo sucks, (no offense) if you are willing to spend that kind of money, get a board with a 680i/780i chipset. Especially for SLI. I have no idea why you would want 2 extra pci-e slots that don't even run 16x electrical.
If you don't care about SLI, get a board with a p35/x38 chipset.

If you going SLI or even thinking about it get a 780i Chipset.

Otherwise get a X38 or P35 chipset.

(Basically what xTorvos said)
