Question about Viruses/Malwares from Websites-

Hi everyone, I have a simple question that i havent the clue what the answer is-
I have an assumption its just paranoia but might as well ask.

I have a wireless network at home- using Cable ISP- to my D-link Router.
I use a wired LAN connection to my PC (infact i use two of the ports and team them to my motherboard)
I use the wireless networks for my PS3/Xbox360.

Anyways recently my girlfriend moved in and she has a Macbook which she uses (with Leopard) anyways i never thought about it- but i realised she visits alot of stupid sites and downloads alot of stuff from Limewire etc (stuff that i never do for security reasons).

My question is - Is it possible since im using Wireless internet that if she went to a site that contained malware scripts or a virus that it could be transferred to my Vista Based PC ?
I dont have them sharing data at all- just the internet connection.
I also know that there using two different OS' but sites that dont render harmful to the Mac could be harmful to Vista OS-

Anyways - Hoping someone has the answer
I think its a no but it would be nice to have solid info.
Thanks again

Don't think its possible. I've never heard of a virus traveling through a router.

Virus's can travel anywhere they have access. Though for them to "travel" they have to be launched and have access to where they try and duplicate themselves.

Since mac's can not launch a virus that are designed for with windows I don't think its possible either. Unless she got a virus thats compatible with mac and windows...yea right lol

LOL
that would be horrendus

thanks for the responses- Its a good relif, i know that Mac OSX has rarely any issues with viruses- and so theres no reprecussions for visiting harmful sites.

But sites that that are type-squabblers (ie: tryin to go to google.com end up typing gogle.com etc) some of these sites contain harmful content, that doesnt even need to be downloaded - just wondering if she visits such a site on her Mac can it affect my Vista based PC because were sharing the same wireless internet via the same router and SSID?

Sounds doubtful lol.
I checked some of the sites shes previously typed in such as nvdia.com (rather than nvidia.com) on Mcafee's site advisor and they all come up as Green stating that the site was tested and no significant problems were found and links lead to safe sites also etc its a pretty cool site. though funny enough sites like facebook and myspace come up as a RED X i can understand why.
