Yeah, I have BIOS 801.
Rain, this is interesting. How many cores are you seeing in the task manager?

I am seeing all 4.

I ran Prime95 and had errors before one minute on 3 cores except one... 1st core runs for a little over a minute.

I played on it for about an hour last night, it didn't freeze or anything.

Also... Ran Prime 95 at 2.3ghz and 2.8ghz, no difference they do exactly the same thing at both clocks.

Rain, if you run Prime 95 or Orthos on your 6000+ does it give you errors also?

Didn't download Prime 95 untill I got my Phenom... Didn't really test it cause I knew it was stable... It never froze up on me or anything... Never had a problem with it.

Rain, the point I am trying to get to is perhaps maybe either your motherboard or your processor is causing these "weird issues". I asked about your 6000+ because if everything works fine with that processor then I'd start pointing fingers at the 9600BE.

This Phenom isn't the new B3 revision is it?

Good luck

Rain, if you ran your 6000+ without any problems on the same motherboard then I have a feeling it has something to do with that processor and motherboard combination. Could be the B2 stepping like you suggested.

Good luck

Send the sucker back to AMD and demand a B3 Stepping. Or whatever it is (is it B4 now?)

Lecastor, I believe the B3 stepping was the revised Phenom slated to release this month.
