Not everyone plays games, believe it or not.

LOL. Who needs $400,000 dollar cars? Or, 5 million dollar houses? If they don't make ridiculous products, rich people won't have anything to spend money on and will just hoard it it! Then money won't change hands and the economy will collapse. So I need 40,000 dollar macs.

You all sound like little kids bickering about whether or not you should eat your vegetables.

When your trying to get your opinion across, people will listen if you not an ass about it. I'm sure someone will quote this post and say something like, "Well why would I use a mac, its just a PC, but worse." or "Who in their right mind would buy a mac, they are for people who think they are cool but actually are just arrogant bastards."

Seriously, you could politely say, "I prefer Microsoft's Operating systems and hardware over Apples, because of these reasons... [reasons]."

This thread is about a MacBook painted gold with diamonds stuck on it, not which operating system is better or the shortcomings of either company.

That goes for all fanboys of any company. Myself included.

</offtopic>

Yeah, people who have the "fun" money to buy stuff like this will for the reason we do most things, for bragging rights. Just like buying a sports car, it looks really pretty, but it is essentially as useful as a cheap car (hello speed limits) but tons of people still buy them.

Well why would I use a mac, its just a PC, but worse. Sorry, I had to!

I own a mac, and so far, mac OSX is great! The computer that this thread is about is just covered in gold. I am sure people do this to PCs as well. Just as foslock says, it's just like buying some fancy (in this case extreamly fancy) car. Let the rich people do what they want...

Thank you for your ignorant post. Believe it or not, I go to school and I am going to college, what a shock! But it seems in HS I need to type up papers and do research, not play games. But you wouldn't understand that students need a computer to get work done on.

And all they play is iTunes? Just the fact that you believe that makes your post pointless.
