It's running really hot, isn't it?
the xig require a lot more paste then almost any other cooler due to the fact the paste gets pushed up into the cracks around the heat tubes try doing a line of it across the pipes and DONT use as5 with this cooler since some will ooze out and you dont want that to happen with as5 since its conductive. i would use some mx2 on there since its non conductive and you can load it on and not worry if some oozes out. what worked good for me was running a VERY VERY thin line along each pipe and i mean very thin.. i used a small syringe for this. this way each pipe 100% has paste on it. i saw a drop of almost 5-7deg by doing that...

Cant wait to see your screenshots underload with new thermal paste application. You should seriously consider getting some shin etsu and using it on all your chipsets.
is at 700 1700 999 right now, seems stable, will post score and the rerun on orthos in a bit =P

Poohball, you need to run 2 instances of Orthos to fully test a quad core.

Copy the orthos folder and rename it to othros1
go into orthos1 folder and rename orthos.exe to orthos1.exe

Open up orthos.exe
open up orthos1.exe

Go into task manager processes and find orthos.exe
Right click on it and goto Set Affinity - Check mark CPU 0 and CPU1 and uncheck CPU2 CPU 3

Next Find Orthos1.exe
Right click on it and goto Set affinity - Check mark CPU 2, CPU 3 and Uncheck CPU 0 CPU 1

Then run a test with both orthos windows open and check results. Orthos only fully supports 2 cores so you aren't testing all 4 cores. You'll find your temps will change also because your not fully stressing all 4 cores as it is. Run this and please post results.

damn...
i can go upto 730
but on shader anything over 1750 is unstable...
memory can go 999

but still experiencing lots of lock up on running the crysis sp demo benchmark.
think is because crysis demo is buggy?
