For example, someone with a Q6600 stuck at 3.2GHz on the ASUS 680i board can get a Q6700 up to 3.56GHz with the same 355 FSB setting.

But now that I see you have the DFI Dark, which can do 500+ FSB with quads, I dont think It matters which chip you get.

back on topic, I would go for the Q6600 G0. I get mine tomorrow. I don't think the 45nm quads will be very impressive especially with my experience with the 45nm.
