Getting Vista x64

Thread Starter
I was wondering if there was a legal way to download the x64 version of Vista home premium. I already bought the upgrade copy when it released, but wanted to get the 64-bit edition. Is it possible not to pay for the discs that they offer and just send my information in and get a downloaded copy of it?

Thanks
-Casualty

Although I think you'd have to pay for 64bit upgrade just like any new upgrade.

Interesting, i know you can pay a few bucks and get the discs as long as you give them your serial key and credit card info.

Go to the Microsoft Alternate Media and input your install key. If it is valid, you can get the Vista 64 disk free and only pay $10 shipping. The disk will only take 3-5 days to ship!

I did this with my Vista Home Premium Upgrade disk. Since the upgrade disk is retail and not OEM, it works!
