8800 GT, HDMI connector question.

Thread Starter
I have a E-vga 8800 gt superclocked. The manual shows the S-video/HDMI connecter, so I want to connect HDMI to my HDTV. I looked on ebay but I didn't find any HMDI to S-video connector, can someone show me how to get this card connector to my hdtv. I'm currently using the dvi-vga connector to my hdtv. I want to improve my picture quality with HDMI, please helpppppp.

What comes in the package is the s-video to component. Which you can use. But if you want to go with HDMI. Then I would recommend getting an HDMI to DVI cable.

That is what I use with my Samsung TV. Picture looks great!

S-Video is still analog video and cannot carry an audio signal, so there's no way to upconvert to a digital signal, which means even if there was an adapter, you would be limited to 480i and no audio, so the moral is, why not just use an svideo cable and seperate audio cables.
