Should i get XFX nForce 680i LT for 100$ ?

Hi all

Is this a good mobo ? I have no experience in Nvidia chipsets . And does anyone have the OVERCLOCKING GUIDE for this mobo ?

680i is a good OCer... not as good as the new 780i but it still is good.

A1 means lifetime warranty as opposed to the T1 which has a two year warranty.

LT is the lite version of the 680i. some minor changes, no tri sli, etc.

i wish they had a cheap 780i or some cheap mobo that has yorkfield support. kinda bummed the 680i doesnt support yorkfield.

Stay tuned. That chipset is still fairly new and it took a while for manufacturers to bust out 680i LT's to reduce the price. There's a 750i chipset but I can't confirm how well it overclocks.

I know with the 650i and 680i they both overclocked extremely well and were nearly neck and neck on most tests.

750i's in Canada. There are more than this but I buy all of my stuff exclusively from Direct Canada unless it's a major deal.

750i's in the US.

i had that exact board, worked very well for me with SLI 8800 GTXs. i managed to get 4ghz..didnt get to complete a whole 3dmark bench though.

EDIT: oops, you dont have a quad. might still find some valid info there.
