Sure they use all three cores, but it doesn't mean they are optimized for them. If you try rendering or video editing or even running a server with the Phenom 8600 you might find it performs a little bet better compared to the E6850 than is first let on by these figures.

my e2200 is running at 3333mhz and i dont feel like running 3dmark right now, also how well do you think this phenom is going to oc because three cores seems a bit like three sticks of ram to me

Seeing how there is no B3 stepping out for people to test there is no telling how well they overclock.

I wish it wasn't an AM2+ socket. If they're good ocer's, I'd have to buy a new mobo to use it.

That's not true, am2, am2+, amd3 processors all fit in standard am2 socket.

Not true, asus still havint released a bios update for my board to allow phemon and phenoms have been out a while now.
