Thread Starter
I need some recomendations on a good wireless router. Most importantly it has to be reliable and low cost. I have a high speed wireless card that can support up to 128mbs but there are just so many routers it is a little overwelming

I love my WRT54GX2, its signal is a bit stronger but you won't gain the increase in speed on that connection. Ebayed mine for about $65

these are just aftermarket firmwares they allow you to do more than what the stock firmware has to offer such as:
(dd-wrt)
more administrative options
overclocking
samba fs automount
hotspot portal

they have a lot of extra added features google em and go to their sites and wiki's for more info

i couldn't tell you much about tomato sorry
