Not oo conserned with the price difference I just want what offers better performance. is the fan thing on the corsair a gimick and is it hard to install?
I know the Corsair dominator looks awesome and all, but I use to own 4 sticks and neither could even get past 1090MHz (Stock 1066) which is pretty pathetic for ram that expensive. In the 1 year I had it I also had 3 sticks die on me, and I was only running them at 1082MHz with stock voltages.

I had a 4x1GB kit though. I would recommend either of the g.skills over the dominators. The 1066s will probably OC better according to the reviews, but its up to you if thats worth $60 more for a very minimal (probably no) performance gain.

g.skill reccommends you set their sticks' trfc to 52 to eliminate issues people have had with them. you can see lower voltages using that + higher clocks most of the time since they are 2gb sticks. that fan isn't neccessary at all. if you want to cool your sticks just use a 120mm fan. it's quiter

Good choice

Just got mine today ($99 shipped at newegg) and they are everything I've read and more. There's a good G.Skill F2-8000 thread over at XS if your interested in other ppl's results, and it's always being updated. Ya, it's also posted above.
