What cooling do you reccomend for my setup?

Thread Starter
I'm not computer hardware genious. I want a kit that's easy to maintain and the best bang for the buck.

Here is my setup. I would also appriciate advice on what to switch out to make it a more solid machine if there are parts on my computer that don't make sense. It was a built rig and i trust people on forums more than I do a company.

Everything to me looks like a bunch of expensive stuff though.

Many will directly recommend you the Thermleright Ultra-120 eXtreme, Tuniq Tower 120, or go watercooling. If you have even more money to spend, give watercooling a try.

And I really want to ask what are you doing with this kind of system? Unless you're rich I don't know what to say. Will you be overclocking everything?

Ditto...

Don't go with that cpu. A q6600 will perform almost on par (you will never notice a difference and 3dmark06 won't notice much either) and you save what, 600$? Also, that cpu cooler is pointless. Either go water or get an air cooler like the thermalright ultra 120 extreme. Also, new graphics cards may be released by the end of the month and make the ultra no longer a top of the line card, something to think about. You could spend the same money in a few weeks and have much better graphical performance.

I think you forgot a monitor, unless you have one already.
And I would think you should get a different motherboard as well.
Maybe considering another CPU.
I'm just curious..

And as for GPU, I would go for the EVGA 8800GTS (G92), very good cards, and if you have them in SLI.

The tuniq tower or the TRUE will do you just fine. I would suggest the tuniq as it is about the same and costs a bit less. Although it doesnt look like you're that concerned with price now does it?
