Isn't that kind of like picking up a Samurai sword and claiming you're now a veteran warrior? I hear that "1.6 is better than CSS therefore I am a better player" thing all the time and it's pretty silly.
Who cares about pros?

More on topic:
If you want a laugh find a 1.6 map with vehicles. Fun as hell trying to drive and shoot.
The Hook maps are a lot of fun too but they're harder to find and it takes a while to get the hang of.

not true.. 1.6 is for people who actually like a challenge.. as said above..
1.6 has recoil and small hitboxes..
css has no recoil and way bigger hit boxes..

Bleh.. I've seen this argument way too many times and it's always the same stuff just different people saying it. I play 1.6, not because I can't let go of the past, not because I can't play CSS, but because I like it. Simple as that -_-

my thoughts exactly. I'm not knocking 1.6, but Source is just so pretty, and I like pretty.

Just pay the $10. It's more fun than source and will make you a better player.
