Help me spend $65 on something fun!

Okay, so I'm about 99% sure that I am done making changes to my build. This is the rig I'll be playing with in about 1 month.

Prices in blue mean "after shipping". Prices in red mean it's purchased, and the decision is final.
  • Video Card: EVGA GeForce 8600GTS Superclocked 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 from rx7racer $20.00 (Yep, only $20!)
Now, I have to wait until April to finish purchasing everything (I can purchase like 1 or 2 more things at the MOST for this month, but that's it).

With this build, I have about about $65 left over ($74 technically). I'm looking to get something fun, but I'm not sure what FOR yet. But I'm leaning towards something for one of the 5.25" drive bays since this thing is forced to live in a desk hole.

But anyway, whatever the thing is, it can be practical, fun, or both. I think it would be really cool to find a device that tells me the temperatures, fan speeds, allows me to control the fan speeds for all 3 of the CM 690's fans, including the Tuniq Tower's, and the fans that the mobo comes with.

Or, maybe I should just buy food with it.

Agreeing with master ^^^
A couple of nice 12cm fans and a digital multi controller to go in one of your 5.25" bays that will display temps, fan speeds and let you change the speeds of fans attached. (some even have extra usb ports, firewire, video out and multi card readers etc...)
I have one and I couldn't do without it now as when my machine is idle i can turn the big 12cm fans right down so they are silent or right up if the temps are getting a little high. You can also stick the temp probes that come with them in places that dont normally get monitered like your PSU or Sound card.

Better fans! Hey, I like that idea. I didn't think of that for some reason. lol wow, I could get 3 of the best fans for under $65 shipped, couldn't I? Or wow, I could ADD fans to this case since it already has 3 of them! I wonder why I didn't think of this before.

But I would almost rather make the front of the 690 more appealing somehow without modding or painting. Maybe some accurate, high quality device with blue led round dials either analog or digital which read the temperature of 3 or more things, and fan controllers.

I don't really know what I want. But maybe a game is in order too!

I suppose I could also slow down and hang onto it. lol

I vote for a fan controller and fans...I say look on these forums for some more bargains.
Heres a fan controller - may be able to haggle over it

I would go to www.crystalfontz.com and get one of those units with a bay faceplate. I love it! I can display just about any information I need. I can even view stats realtime when playing counterstrike =). Very cool looking too.
