best psu (budget = $120)

Thread Starter
being the most important part of the build i have a strict budget limit i'm trying to withhold...

i would like a wattage between 600-700. i'd like it to be somewhat inbetween quiet and a small personal plane . i'm more than happy to go under $120, but as the title says, i'm not wanting to go over $120 (and that's even with a MIR). i want something very reliable, at least 80% effeciency, between those wattages, and no more than $120 total.

i need options to consider from "first handers" onto which i'll probably put into a poll unless the opinions here are unanimous

thanks

can you fill in your specs in your user control panel?

also i would reccommend:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139005
im sure lots of other people would too

high wattage on a nice 52A single rail, high quality for a cheap price.

At $120, how about PC Power & Cooling 610W? or extra $25 forCosair 620HX?
At that range I'd go with:

Seasonic M12 650
Corsair 650TX
PC P&C 610 Silencer
Silverstone OP650 (if you can find one on sale)
i7 monsta

ok well i filled out my specs, but that's the water system i'm parting out. what this budget system will comprise of more then likely will be:

c2q
ip35-e
nice beefy card, possibly a 3780x2 if i can make under my max budget limit
a couple burner drives, a rom drive, and A
true, hr03, hr05
i'm guessing 10 fans ranging from 50 to 120mm
2 or 3 hard drives
c534

ok, well given what i just posted (along those lines) what do you think my best best would be in the $120 range?
Based on the description, a good 550W PSU should be fine. Many good 550w+ PSU fit in that $120 range. The first one can't miss is DuckieHo's 620HX. For $114, can't beat it.

ATI HD3000 series requirement
