Overclocking laptops is really a terrible idea. They are crammed in with very little space for airflow.

Half the laptops Ive used it be a better idea to underclock cause they overheat so much.

No, because most OEM's (Sony included) lock the BIOS, so you're out of luck. Plus, I wouldn't overclock a laptop anyways.

ok so i overclocked wit CPUFSB got it to 1.5ghz and it BSOD mwahahah guess ile give up on this **** its WHACK !!

Uk-lad-andy, this being a VIA chipset then I doubt you'll be able to lock the pci bus which would cause instability issues when you start overclocking. Software overclocking can also lead to data corruption.
