That's a good question. In general, the high range OC for GT is around 720/1700/1000. If someone got a fact OC'd card that is already OC'd to 675/1650/950, then the OC potentail will be limited. I am not sure I answer your question.

It's not that you overclock less, it's that your card is already overclocked. You have no more head room.

Let's say your bought a video card

Stock clock: 100MHz
It's max overclock 150MHz

If you bought a overclocked video card, it'll probably be 140MHz. It's 40 above stock and 10 below max. And when you overclock the pre-overclocked card, you're just adding more to it, which will give you less head room if you were just going to buy the stock and adding the 50MHz yourself.

Anyone please correct me if I am wrong...

It is not that the OC'd cards cannot achieve the same OC as a non-OC'd card, it is just that they are already OC'd, so therefore, do not need to OC them too much more because they are already close to their OC limit. In a non-OC'd card, you need to OC everything more in order to catch up. They should usually OC to the same numbers though. I could be wrong.

.....too many OC's I think I just confused myself
