Yep, VisionTek is indeed a lifetime warranty. Says so on their site and product cartons.

For ATI products, I've owned MSI, ASUS, HIS, and Visiontek.

The MSI and ASUS were great. My 3870x2's are both VisionTeks and so far, no issues at all. But my two 2900XTs were by HIS, and one of them went bad. Had to RMA it. HIS tech support is absolutely terrible. And to RMA HIS products, you have to go through some funky company called LexyCorp. I'll never buy HIS again.

i have a sapphire and diamond card.

I would order a diamond or visiontek card myself. Do not order a gigabyte card (they use DDR3 now) or Asus, they also changed their cooler. I know diamond and visiontek now use this heatpipe cooler.

I bought from diamond this time around for a card. whole reason why is it wasn't HIS. their tech support is horrible, their sales support is horrible, their RMA service is horrible, and they don't seem to have much honesty.

New: HIS IceQ 3 HD 3870 (Piss Poor Overclocker) - Bought to replace my HD 3850, kinda wish i wouldve bought a reference cooler because this one OC's very very badly (i.e. pretty much not at all)

Old: Visiontek HD 3850 (Great Overclocker) - Bought to replace my XFX 6800xt and was great until i needed the extra memory.
