is that at load? If so, thats normal depending if you have a halfway decent cooler.

yea thats on load with thermaltake 120 extreme

when i try push to 3.6 400x9 cpu my temp goes up to 71 c . btw whats ur temp on load?

If your loading at 65, that's as far as I would push it personally.....

9*380 is where I have mine stably folding at a reasonable temp.

Looks like you need to update your specs. What HSF are you using with that Q6600?

load temps seem a little high for a TRUE120. is it seated properly and making good contact. i dont think it should go above 55C or 60C when correctly mounted.
i would use the 9X multiplier because you can use a lower FSB which is easier for the motherboard.
