I hate Asus

Thread Starter
Ok, this is the 3rd time I have had the exact same board go bad (mind you this time, there was no overclocking!!! :swearing:!!!!)

Right now, I think they are the worst people ever! Their quality is lacking, and now their website is kicking down their mobo customers, and only giving you a number for their laptops!!
This is my 3rd time i will have to RMA with them (i just finished my 2nd RMA with them at the beginning of Feb!)

Once they "open" (a bs answer, when before, they mentioned they have a 24hr customer service support staff, to help you whenever you need it) I will be asking either for my (amount paid at that time) money back, or give me an upgrade to an equivalently priced intel board. I am seriously getting fed up worth this.

So far, I have had to RMA my board 2 times (the first time took over a FREAKING month! ) and then I had to RMA my DVD drive, and then my ram. I really did get the SH** end of the stick this time!

Now that I have had time to rant and steam a little, what do you guys think I should do?

also, do you like my sig rig's name?

well, i'm no longer an nvidia GPU user, so that wouldn't make sense for me. Plus I don't have $ to spend right now, so anything I can get for free, or not cost me any extra $ is worth it to me.

Just run the Gigabyte P35-DS3L or the Abit IP35-E.

I dont particularly like the ASUS NVIDIA chipset line. I've had the P5N-E, the P5N32-E SLI Plus and the P5N32-E SLI.

But their Intel chipset boards, in my experience, are great! I've had the P5E for a few months and cant imagine going with anything else! It is 100% stable with a decent OC.

I feel for you,
Good Luck!
