Read that it make me renember my childhood with the PC and the Angry German Kid and i don't know why ...

The other day I caused my comp (old hardware) to BSOD cause I touched the reset switch and got a little static shock. (super BSOD power ) Didn't do any harm though. I rebooted and everything was fine. Point is, as others have said, electricity doesn't cause the issues he was having. I agree with the sticky keys theory. Kid pulled a fast one on everybody.

I actually have a problem similar to this. My body produces an unnaturally high amount of static elec.. i get shocked when I touch anything/anybody. I recent killed my favorite pc by reaching down to touch the (plastic)power switch and fried my mobo power connectors. I have to be very very very careful about grounding myself.

After watching the video closer I have to say I have also had keyboard disruption before too. It's only happened a few times but I have gotten a shock off my keyboard and had to reboot because the keys started acting funny...randomly not working, pushing a letter makes a completely different letter pop up and the shift(sometimes it worked, sometimes not) and caps lock(caps lock affecting # keys) keys went crazy. I actually bought a new keyboard before I realized it was me. A doctor diagnosed me...should be able to do the same with him.

Doesn't sticky keys just let you use the shift, alt, ctrl buttons without holding them down? After every shift character for example you would have to press shift again. I don't see the kid pressing shift in the video.

C'mon people wouldn't they be able to find out the problem if it was sticky keys? I mean it tells you how to turn on sticky keys as soon as you do it....

Don't drag your feet when you walk!

The human body does actually possess a magnetic field, and can differ due to biochemistry variances I've read.......
For example:
Quote:
Electric currents induced due to 60 Hz magnetic fields in a human body placed in close proximity to various high voltage transmission lines are computed. A realistic model of the human body from the anatomical and electrical point of view with resolution of 1.3 cm for the body and 0.665 cm for the head is used. The computations are performed using the impedance method. Three representative configurations of high voltage transmission lines, namely 500 kV, 138 kV and 25 kV are analyzed. The results indicate that the maximum current densities of the order of 0.2 μA/cm2 can be induced in a lineman working on a 500 kV line (0.5 m away from closest conductors). A good correlation can be seen between the computed magnetic field in the location of the human body and the induced current densities. The induced currents computed here and estimated from measured magnetic fields in various power line environments are compared to those for typical home and office exposures, including appliances

I love how all the 'experts' here just jump to the conclusion that they're all morons and that the kid tricked them all

Lately I've been getting shocked by just about everything I touch (I'm in a wheelchair so I know it's not cause I'm dragging my feet! ) and it has a lot to do with the fact that the air is dry here. Sucks cause I have to remember to touch my desk (has a metal support bar underneath) before I touch my PC
