SLI option not found

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I just got my 2nd card in today and I cant seem to get it into SLI. I don't have the SLI option in the 3D settings. Why is that? I spent 3 hours trying to figure out the problem and no luck. Reinstalled the drivers and nForce drivers and even update bios and no luck. Board is P5NSLI btw.

Relying on Windows to simply update your drivers for the second card doesn't add the SLi feature.

Uninstall your Forceware drivers and then reinstall the latest one. After doing this SLi will then be available to select from the nVidia control panel.

if none of the above work, put your card in the second pci-e slot and try it out. i had a bum 2nd pci-e slot and had to rma my board

The bridge is on and I reinstalled the drivers about 4 times now. Still nothing. I dont know where the problems is comming from because both the cards work from either ports.:mad :

I feel like sticking a stick of dynamite inside my computer and setting it out in the middle of the street.

If anyone else have any more ideas let me know. Because at time point, its going nowhere.

have you UNinstalled the drivers then installed them or are you just rewriting them?

In this diagram, there is the "Red Selector Card" labeled with an 8, did you flip it around to Dual Video Cards to run SLI? This is a common oversite.
