Stay under the max vcore as recommended by intel and you will be fine (1.5v):

ehhhhh people dont say stay under 1.5v just so your temps are good. Even if you have amazingly good temps, if you have too high of a vcore, you will still ruin your chip. they aren't as directly related to a chip going bad as you would think imo.

if you aren't planning on upgrading soon in the future, i would leave it at 1.5 so that if it does burn out, you can return it.
