Default Nuking HD

Thread Starter
Made a new PC and now I am using the same HD I did as my other PC. Do I need to wipe the memory prior to boot up on my new PC or can I just install the OS again w/o uninstalling anything that was stored on my old PC?

you can just install the OS. The OS software will delete/create the hard drive partition, then give you the option to format it, then install the OS itself.

Give it a go, it should be painless.

when you reinstall you will wipe everything on the harddrive but i find i get faster loads by using DBAN first as it wipes parts of the drive that windows does not
