oh ok i will try that

one more thing vtecjunkie81 i just ran prime95 (large fft) and 1 of my core (core2) failed in 5min but when i ran small fft last week for 9hours it worked just fine.

what do you think is causing the problem..i also tried upping my ram voltage to 1.9V still no good

it may be the vcore being too low for the FSB you're at. I'm at 233 FSB with a 1.4 vcore to be stable. since your temps are still low, try pushing it to 1.45 and see what happens.
yeah, you should be good up to 1.55v on the vcore. and you may try setting your trc to something between 24-26 in the memory options of your bios. i had a buddies 5200+ stable at 3400 with just a little tinkering just to see how high it would go. i was running 1.55 vcore and hitting about 53c full load. so you should be good

what would you reccomend for a ok voltage?

well it runs at 46C idle then 56C load

my bios settins are:

CPUfeq: 231
Multiplier : X13.0
HT link : 1XCPU
RAM: from 800mhz to 400mhz

if any1 can recommend anythin to keep it stable without buyin more cooling ( for now) would b a great help

and as you can tell im new to OCing and OC.net n i must say great site

olzi i think 1.4V would be a pretty good voltage.

vtec and master i upped the voltage to 1.42 and i also lower my ram speed but i just ran prime95 large fft for 8hours =] and would u recommend tightening or loosening the ram timing?

if your stable you don't need to loosen at all. if your going to oc more and you have issues getting stable you can try loosening to stable out.

hmmm i'm not too familiar with prime95, but if that particular test stresses the RAM as well as the CPU, you may want to change your timings from 5-5-5-14 to 5-5-5-18. is there any way you can post a SS with 2 CPU-Z windows, one on the main tab and one on your memory tab, as well as Prime95 after the error occurs?
personally i hate prime95 according to it my current oc is unstable but in orthos i have run 24+hrs just fine. i would try downloading orthos and using it
