5200+x2 (first oc) - Page 4

Some things to consider.... (I'm typing)...

1. RAM Sub Timings
Async 6-9 (try 8)
Trfc 105 0r 127.5
Trc 22-26

2. Chip Set Voltage
The NB don't seem to need much or any increase.
The South Bridge however, seems to get more voltage dependent as the OC increases. On two completely different chip sets, the South Bridge required increases even though the RAM was "stable" and in some cases at near default speeds and timings. GSKill DDR2 800 "HZ" series with D9 ICs.

3. If you have the "HZ" series RAM, it should hit about 1080 at 4-4-4-12 Trc 22, Trfc 127.5, Async 8 with 2.2v
Also, AM2/AM2+ seem far more OC friendly with a CPC (Command) of 2T.

4. 3300ish speeds will likely need a vcore of about 1.45-1.475v. Perhaps slightly more dependent on the vdroop.

5. Keep the full load temps below the low 50c range.

About the South Bridge, on both the Crosshair and TA770 A2+ MBs, the 5000+ B had the same result in Orthos level 10 blend with respect to needing to up the South Bridge voltage. Sometimes it would error out or the RAM would until I upped the SB.
The Crosshair did OC the 5000+ B almost 200 MHz more than the TA770 though.
