ive taken apart countless oem machines and out of them all only 4 have had the hs glued on and a razer and a heat up cycle took care of them.

This thread is so disgustingly bad it makes me want to cry. His first post stated that HE CANNOT GET INSIDE THE CASE TO MESS WITH THE MOTHERBOARD, yet after he stated that fact about 10 times people kept saying **** like, "remove the ram" or "tear something off the motherboard". After the first 5 pages of replies I ended up not reading the rest of the thread because all the posts people were submitting were completely worthless.

rant over....that is all.

I was going to say rip off the IHS (as its probably soldered) and put it back on.. but going by your first post...

How about you get it a cheap video card, some more RAM and a Northwood Pentium 4..?

seriously... kill it via electric shock... get a power cord, cut the female end off, exposing the wires. plug it in to the wall, and touch the metal to the exposed wire. be sure to ground yourself, and wear protective gloves.
