Is this a Laing DDC renamed to AquaXtreme? Is this one a Laing too?

The second however is not. This is the 50Z, a pretty popular pump in the past and a good one. Very similar to the Laing D5 except a little lower performance.

Only thing I don't understand about the website is publishing the DDC at 13.5V. I could not get my DDC to run at 13.5V, it is capped and limited to not start at anything higher than 12.95V or so. Anyway, doesn't matter if you're not overvolting.

Ok well thanks for the info. Didn't Swiftech have a pump like the 50Z in the past but it is now discontinued. I read that somewhere while surfin' the Goog..

The 50z is the old Swiftech MCP600, I guess Aquaextreme bought the right to it and kept making it...They are a fairly good low heat dump pump....Thats the one Swifty made before the D-4...
