Do you need speakers on the monitor?

Also, if you want 1080p it's gotta be over 23 inches and at 350$, you'll get something pretty crappy unless it's on sale...

My Gateway fits into all your needs (except the 1080p, but does 720p beautifully). My friend brought over his PS3 a few days ago and it looked awesome on it The only problem with it is that you need to use external speakers for audio, which most of would do anyways because the speakers in monitors are always crappy

I have my ps3 hooked up to my Samsung 941BW 19" widescreen via HDMI to DVI. I have my ps3 set on 1080p (obviously it is compressed but looks crazy sharp) I can also set it on 720p, but it is not as clean. Some of my games automatically switch to 720p, but the quality is still amazing while others at 1080p (woo!). The monitor is perfect size for medium range (like 5-8 feet?) I have it on my desk which is probably 2 feet away. I highly recommend this for a gooooood budget monitor. It is only $170.00 at the egg.

EDIT: That one is an open box one
new ones are around $200 - $250

Basically, you're better off with a smaller monitor (19-20 inches) if you can't go for the 24". A 22" like mine really looks all pixelated in 720p because monitors' resolution is far more crisp than televisions.

Still don't regret my 225MS, but it's only available in Canada and is now discontinued...

I think it's looking pixelated would be because it's not running at it's native resolution. With an LCD, that makes the picture look like crap.

I have a 24" Westinghouse that I bought from Best Buy for about $380. It works great, and I have my PS3 hooked up to it with a HDMI cable at 1080p. I think it was on sale, but I am not sure.
