BF2/2142...Weird but true

Anytime I unplug my monitor from my tower, such as I move my computer to another location in the house. BF2142 or BF2 wont start up. This has happened to me 7 times already. Only way to fix this is to do a clean install of the game.

Right now i can play bf2142 or b2, and if i decide to unplug my monitor for any reason. They will not start. When I start the game the logo will pop up and then go black for a few seconds..then put me at my desktop. When I do unplug my monitor its always with the PSU off and unplugged.

Riddle me this one!

I'm referring to my other gaming rid..not the one with specs. below.

Asus A8N-32 Deluxe
Corsair 2gigs
8800 GTX

Couldn't get an answer from R3ap3r cuz the board closed this thread......unbelievable!

How about a Vista reinstall?

So you unplug your monitor and you game won't load?

Has nothing to do with your monitor at all. Lollercoaster tycoon!

XP reinstall, then.

might want to check your connection of your card to your mobo. Unplugging your monitor should have no ill affects on a computer game. If it was a problem if you would affect your whole pc not just a game.
