HT Link for Biostar

Thread Starter
I was just wondering if anyone know whether you can change the HT link on the TA770. I think the HT freq. is what's holding me back from getting 3.3Ghz as it's just a little under 1200

if your using a Nfore chipset you can use NTune to change the HT link but thats if you set everything else except for the fsb....which is kind of limited in NTune sadly tho....unless you want to try and find another program that will OC your FSB

DO NOT USE NTUNE. just go into your overclocking menu in the bios and look through the options til you find one thats adjustable between 5x, 4x, 3x, 2.5x, and 2x. that is your ht link. its called HT-NB or something like that

yeah i was planning on staying away from any kind of software OC utility. I tried it before and hated it (It looked pretty though..) anyway, i dont have such options, but i do have on that lists 200Mhz, 600Mhz, 800Mhz, 1000Mhz I don't remember which option that is though...
well that could be your ht link or it could be your memory speed settings, could you post up a pic of your bios maybe???

i know it's not the memory speed settings those are in a completely different menu. i'll post a pic of the BIOS in as long as it takes me to do it lol
post #7 of 36
well if thats not the memory to fsb ratio then that would be your ht link. whats your fsb at?

Here's a couple of shots. The first one just shows the menu under which the option is. The Second one is the option itself. Also would ya'll mind letting my know how my voltages look? This is my first OC and I just want to make sure everything looks good to more trained eyes FSB is at 233

okay so basically 1ghz is 5x 800mhz is 4x etc etc. try setting it at 4x which would put your ht around 948

o ok cool i just wanted to make sure that's what it was cause i've always heard it as 5x 4x etc.
