Appraisal: DFI Venus Socket 939

Thread Starter
I know of a DFI Venus (very rare), G Skill HZ, Lian Li case, and Naked Opteron 175 for $450. Do you think I should buy it and part it out? Would I break even?

I figure the CPU is worth about $75
The RAM is worth about $100
The case is worth $25
Mobo???

Ehh, adding up the numbers above doesn't seem like I wouldn't break even. Would be a very nice system to have, I've always wanted a Venus.

Yeah, but finding the right person I've found can be hard. If I bought this, I'd probably keep it around for a while, and by the time I sell it, it will be worth even less. I better stay away.....but it's sooooo tempting.........must resist......the ....temptation.........

I can't even get $100 out of my Opty 165 which is a much better overclocker.
