can´t change the processor frequency

Thread Starter
have a ASROCK UPGRADE NF3 with 2 memos at 400mhz " memory total: 1,5gb)

Sempron 2600 + 64 bits, revision 6.

In the bios setup (overclock options) i can´t configure the processor frequency. Even if i change the fsb 1 hz up ( 200 to 201 hz) and put the memories at 266, the machine dont inicializE.( bad cmos error)

So, my sempron is working at 1600 MHZ. (8x 200)
I heard that this processor can run at 2400mhz.

This is a problem of the motherboard, the processor or the memories?

What can i do?

Maybe there is a BIOS option to turn on manual clock speeds also turn performance enhancers off and set voltages to manual when doing a biggish OC Change the voltage to stop it crashing (raise it) also raise the MCH Voltage a tad

The motherboard is going to be your issue, Asrocks are to be honest pretty crappy mobo's in most cases and are not known to be good overclockers.
