i'm currently using 169.25. i tried 169.44 and it still gives me the problem. i have to do a hard reboot cuz the screen will blank out after a while. i'm using stock cooling. running 1 card(tired both card alone) does not give me that problem only in sli. i just got the second card today and it's giving me this problem need some help. thanks

edit: i'm using vista ultimate
try running only that single card that you just got and see if it has the problem. If they both don't have that problem individualy then it's prolly poor cooling and you should add some case fans.

the idle temp for both of my cards are around 52-54 deg c. for my country. i find that quite normal cuz my 7600gt runs around that temp.
yeh the temps are fine mine round at around 40 idle and then upto 60 load ... my only thought would fall on drivers ... i know it is nasty but you might wanna try a re-install of vista (you might wanna change that in you're sig) and install the latest nForce drivers for you're mobo and you're gfx cards ... has XFX released a bios update for the 8800GT cause there is a idea
