Need some good surround sound headphones

So, what are some good quality NON-USB surround sound headphones? I need something better than my 2.1 setup for gaming, and I can't afford a whole new surround sound speaker system. I'll probably be getting an X-Fi Extreme Gamer sound card for my new rig, if that makes any difference.

I want them to be good for watching movies, gaming, music, and other stereo sources too. I don't care if they have a mic or not, but if they do I would prefer that it's detachable. I would prefer that I can use them on my computer and use them on my MP3 player as well. And It'd be nice to easily be able to switch from my the headphones back to my speakers.

I was originally looking at these, but I'm not sure how good they actually are so if you have them let me know if they're any good. I read a review about them that said they weren't that great, but the guy said it was because his Audigy 2 drivers didn't play nice with the center\\sub channel.

Thanks

5.1 are.... not all they're cracked up to be.
you're better off going with some HD555's (90$) or ATH-A700's (120-60$)
and a buying a separate mic. you'll get better gaming out
of them, way better music, and wont have to worry about a mic.

and this mic

How are the ATH-A700's? I looked them up and I think the look like they're better than Sennheiser ones. Would you happed to know of an amp\\switch or something to plug these and my speakers into so I don't constantly have to plug and unplug the cords when I switch?

Thanks

The Plantronics Switcher has become quite popular on here.

The A700's are great, I have some sibilance problems though, I'm not sure if the cans are at fault, or my settings are. But they are nice cans none the less.

The best way I can describe it is the "sss" syllable being over exaggerated.

Thanks, I think I'll probably end up going with the ATH-A700's. They look pretty good. And that switch will make things a lot easier.
