Just a warning. Most of those LiveCD will not work. Reason: most liveCD require 256mb of RAM.

I believe thats why TnB recommended DSL, it is reported to run on 128mb

from the DSL site:
Run fully in RAM with as little as 128MB (you will be amazed at how fast your computer can be!)

If you plan to install anything to that USB flash drive, don't expect to install Ubuntu or any other mainstream distro for that matter. It's too small.

Also, if you're going to be using a live distro on a computer as slow as that, make sure you get a distro geared to be booted from a USB flash drive. You will regret it if you install a mainstream distro on a USB drive.
